Amboseli national park Tour

Amboseli is situated on the foothill of Kilimanjaro (African highest mountain) which is about 260km
south east of Nairobi. It derives its name from the Masai word for salty dust. It is a park full of
fascinating fauna and the best place to catch a glimpse of some of the greatest African wild animals
such as the black rhinos, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, leopards, spotted hyenas, bushbucks,
Columbus monkeys and olive baboons among many more.

3 days

Itinerary

Day 1

You will be warmly received at the airport and have a brief discussion about your safari. You will be
introduced to your driver who will drive you to Amboseli where you will arrive in time to have a
leisurely lunch at kibo Safari camp. Later in the afternoon, you will visit the observation hill to
overlook the parks plain vegetation and have a mesmerising view of several birds whistling, flying
and wading at the swamps. You will have an up-close view of big tusked elephant families drinking
the swamps water and also see a pod of hippos dipping their heads in and out awaiting the nights to
come out and graze. The spectacular view of the iconic Mt. Kilimanjaro provides a perfect backdrop
for photography to capture the scenic moments. You will enjoy this peaceful and relaxing moment
until the last glow of the African sun sets. You will be back in the camp in the twilight for your
dinner and overnight

Day 2

You will have an early morning breakfast (light breakfast) after which you will enjoy a morning game drive in order to see
nocturnal wildlife and birds that hides during the day. As the morning progresses, you will be served with a bush breakfast and have another game drive until noon when you will get back to the camp to have lunch. Before an evening game viewing, Guests have an option to relax or visit
the nearby Masai community to experience their rich culture and buy their authentic souvenir
displayed in their curio shops. You will go back to the camp for your dinner and overnight.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will depart back to Nairob and be drooped off at your hotel.
